Late Night Study Essay Series 1

Life is long, have you ever thought about how to waste it?#

  • Late at night, looking at friends' moments, mkbk sees various outings and campus activities. How about it, do you think mkbk would envy them? Actually, Makabaka is just too sleepy.
  • The mkbk from a long time ago might have been envious, looking at others sharing where they ate today, where they went to see flowers.
  • But now, Makabaka is different!!!
  • First of all, it's an observation issue, the accumulation of individuals and the whole, and not all individuals have a mapping in the friends' moments.
  • Friends' moments are like a filter, what kind of things do people post? (Of course, let's exclude Makabaka here, mkbk always thinks of posting when it comes to mind)
  • Mkbk has some thoughts on this question, but still wants to hear everyone's choices.
    1. How do you want to share?
    2. If you want to share, how would you choose to do it? Would you choose to share in private chats with people, or post on friends' moments? Or would you choose to publish on other platforms?
    3. Or maybe most of the time, like Makabaka, you focus on the experience, and carefully record the bits and pieces of your life, and don't like taking photos (to be more accurate, don't like being called over to pose hahaha)
  • But why did I choose this title?
  • Because the current Makabaka feels that these activities are not in line with Makabaka's life philosophy.
  • Or more accurately, Makabaka made this choice under limited time, which does not mean that Makabaka has any prejudice against amusement parks, roadshows, singing performances, etc.
Suddenly, I thought, mkbk can make a calendar and fill it with events big and small from life, these activities would be great material.
  • But as I described at the beginning of the previous blog post,
  • This is Beijing's spring, not my spring.
  • Or, if this can become Makabaka's spring, Makabaka would feel very down.
    1. As an individual, is the fulfilling and exciting life that I envy just about checking in at a restaurant, leaving my footprints on a mountain, or participating in an activity as a bystander or silently observing...haha, what else can there be? Makabaka doesn't like this feeling, so regardless of the previous Mingde Square or this time at Century View North, Makabaka didn't go.
    2. Makabaka always feels that all of this is too close to noise and too far from oneself. In the past, Makabaka always thought about how to communicate with others and observe their world, and of course, it is still the case now, but now Makabaka also thinks that communicating with oneself is also a good choice.
    3. Instead of having a seemingly long conversation with most people, which is actually either a monologue or receiving shallow responses (in many cases, sensitive Makabaka can tell when someone is just going through the motions), it is better to be like the current Makabaka, expressing the flow of consciousness through writing. This is a way for you to have a conversation with your past self, and also provides an opportunity for your future self to have a conversation with your present self.
    4. Speaking of conversations, Makabaka thinks that the experience of the future self looking at the present self is particularly valuable. Everyone has it, but not everyone can make good use of it. Just like today (ah no, it should be yesterday), as mentioned in the big data lecture Makabaka attended, the value of data depends on the processing ability of the user, and everyone has their own vast and complex data from the past.
    5. Makabaka thinks this is difficult to say because the mechanism of the human brain is very complex. Makabaka doesn't know how the brain processes this data, but Makabaka's focus is on actively building a convenient and reasonable data transformation mechanism for oneself.
    6. Makabaka knows that I've said a lot in this place (although there's still a lot I haven't said), so feel free to find Makabaka offline or online to discuss. Makabaka will provide my contact information at the end of the article~

In your own world, of course you should be the protagonist#

  • Now I think about it, Makabaka doesn't like those activities mainly because mkbk can't find a sense of achievement in them (friends, can activities and prizes match the value of your precious time?) (This is only for those who intend to win prizes or are tempted by prizes). Can't find a sense of existence. In the long run, will this energy form the backbone of your life, or just some branches and twigs?
  • Those activities, after all, are other people's home turf. Just like Nietzsche criticizing Christianity but admiring Jesus, I also highly respect the organizers.
  • Makabaka knows that the last part of my first paragraph may have some issues from certain perspectives, but I'm too lazy to change it. Wouldn't it be better to introduce the concept of 'eternal recurrence' here?
  • If your current life were to repeat thousands and thousands of times, would you continue doing what you're currently doing?
  • Hahaha
  • Suddenly, I thought, in contrast to the philosopher Nietzsche, my own idea has always been how to make different actions in the next time. I don't want anything to determine what I will do. I don't want to have the same response every time I face the same situation. In other words, in Makabaka's world, Makabaka is the parameter that plays a decisive role.
  • After all, you live in your own world.
Since life may repeat thousands and thousands of times, why not make a little change?
